CHVRCHES Cover Whitney Houston's 'It's Not Right, But It's Okay'

(Radio.com) With their cover of Whitney Houston's "It's Not Right, But It's Okay," CHVRCHES give the diva's 1999 hit an electro makeover. The Scottish's band's cover for BBC Radio One, highlights the song's cha-cha beat with a bevy of synths and spacey bleeps.

Singer Lauren Mayberry channels Whitney's sassy attitude, letting this guy know, "Close the door behind you/ Leave your key/ I'd rather be alone, than unhappy."

The band sticks with this same synthy vibe on their pop song filled debut The Bones Of What You Believe, out this week.

The band is currently touring on tour in Europe, but head back to the States later this fall, kicking things off in Los Angeles on November 17.
