Coldplay's Release New Song 'Atlas' Off The 'Hunger Games' Soundtrack (Recap)

.
On Monday Coldplay's Release New Song 'Atlas' Off The 'Hunger Games' Soundtrack was a top story. Here is the recap: (Radio.com) Coldplay's new song "Atlas" which comes off of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire soundtrack is a pulsating ballad that hearkens back to the band's X&Y days.

On the tension-filled track, Chris Martins sings about carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders, not unlike the Greek titan the song is named after.

Last month, Coldplay posted a photo of the handwritten lyrics of the song on their website. Very fittingly they sing about being "caught in the fire." But being the sweet and sensitive band they are, the song also has lyrics like: "I'll carry your world…and all your hurt."

This is the first song Coldplay has ever written specifically for a motion picture. It's also the band's first new song since releasing their fifth studio album, Mylo Xyloto in 2011. - Check out the new song here.
