George Michael's New Song 'Let Her Down Easy' Goes Online

(Radio.com) George Michael's new song, "Let Her Down Easy" might sound familiar. That's because the song was originally recorded by Terence Trent D'Arby in 1993.

For his version of the piano ballad, which premiered on Magic Radio in the UK on Monday (Feb. 3), Michael sticks very close to the original, playing the role of a wise sage who is putting a young man in his place.

On the song he croons, "Even though there's nothing I can say/To your cheating nature anyway/Let her down easy" ending his advice with the pointed reply, "You'll grow up in time."

The track will be featured on Michael's upcoming sixth album, Symphonica, due out March 17, which was produced by the late Phil Ramone and will reportedly feature original songs along with covers, including Nina Simone's "My Baby Just Cares for Me." Listen to the song here.
