Cut Copy Make 'We Are Explorers' Video With 3-D Printable Characters
. According to The Guardian, the band and the video's directors Masa Kawamura, Qanta Shimizu and Aramique Krauthammer connected with controversial file-sharing site BitTorrent to distribute the 3-D printable files to users around the world, ultimately in hopes of generating a truly interactive experience complete with multiple versions of the video. "Once we had all the figurines printed, we realized the music video was only the beginning. We wanted to find a way to give the fans access to the 3-D files so they can print them and use them to create their own narratives of exploration," Krauthammer told the paper. "Hopefully people print the figurines, play with them, shoot them, make new storylines we didn't think of, take them to places we couldn't, and share whatever they do with everyone so we can enjoy the process together." more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
