Glee's Lea Michele Reveals Her Musical Journey On Her Debut Album
. "Battlefield" is a piano based ballad with heartfelt lyrics about the end of a relationship. The stripped down track features Michele's vocals at the forefront for the majority of the song. "It's easy to fall in love but it's so hard to break somebody's heart/ What seemed like a good idea has turned into a battlefield," she sings at the track's start. Where first single "Cannonball" was more produced with overpowering drums and electronic beats, "Battlefield" shows the Glee actress' vocal power. Lea Michele will release her debut album, Louder, on March 4. She worked with Sia, Christina Perri, Colin Munroe and Stargate for her forthcoming album. "Louder really encompasses my experiences over this past year and my journey as an artist up to this point," Michele said in a press release. "There's a lot of emotion but it's also very encouraging and hopeful it's about pushing forward and living your life in a way that's louder, stronger and bolder. I'm so excited to share this new side of me with my fans." Listen to the new single here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
