Dave Mustaine Says He's Not The One Preventing Big 4 Shows

(TeamRock Radio) Dave Mustaine insists he and his band Megadeth are not the barrier between more Big 4 thrash concerts. His outfit teamed up with fellow genre giants Metallica, Slayer and Anthrax for a run of shows in 2010 and 2011 the only times they'd ever shared the same stage.

Last year Slayer frontman Tom Araya said one band was making it difficult for future appearances to take place, stating: "I don't want to say politics is preventing that. It's not the politics between bands it's the politics of character in one particular band."

Mustaine and Araya have had their run-ins in the past. But the Megadeth mainman tells the MetalSucks Podcast : "I love Tom. I think all the hardship we've had is really sad.

"There was things I did and said that caused some problems between Tom and I, and we worked it out. I have no problem with him or Anthrax or Metallica. I don't know where that came from." more on this story
