Earlier in the evening, Bono performed alongside the Edge on guitar with Haitian singer Anaelle Jean-Pierre. The benefit raised nearly $6 million for the J/P Haitian Relief Organization and was attended by the likes of Bette Midler, Michael Douglas, Gwyneth Paltrow, Charlize Theron, Piers Morgan, Chelsea Handler, Sarah Silverman, Idris Elba, and Kathryn Bigelow.
