Motley Crue Farewell Tour Gets Off To Rough Start

(hennemusic) Motley Crue launched their farewell tour on Wednesday night in Grand Rapids, Michigan and the trek reportedly got off to a rough start at the Van Andel Arena, with technical problems derailing the first half of the show. Fan-filmed video of opening night has surfaced online.

The band opened their 22-song set with "Mutherf***er Of The Year" from 2008's "Saints Of Los Angeles" before kicking in to songs from their 30-plus year career.

But problems began to develop early in their set, according to MLive. Tommy Lee reportedly broke the head on his kick drum three songs into the performance. That forced Mick Mars to fill the time with a guitar solo, which Mlive says ran out of steam and the crowd grew restless as the house lights came up during a 10-minute delay. That was only the beginning. Read more and watch the video here.
