Seun Kuti & Egypt 80 Release New Video and Announce Album and Tour

. Seun Kuti & Egypt 80 have announced the release of their new album and a summer tour to support the effort and they have also released a music video for the first track from the new album.

The new album "A Long Way To The Beginning" is set to be released on May 27, 2014 by Knitting Factory Records and features guest appearances from M-1 of dead prez, Blitz the Ambassador and Nneka.

They are giving fans their first taste of the album with the release of a new music video for the new album's opening track, "IMF," which features a verse from M-1 of the hip-hop group dead prez. Watch the video here.

Fans will be able to catch Seun Kuti & Egypt 80 on the road this summer in support of the new album. The North American tour is scheduled to kick off on June 10th at the Highline Ballroom in New York City and will conclude on June 21st in San Diego at Catalyst.
