Dierks Bentley Covers Avicii's 'Hey Brother'
. Avicii is a Swedish-born producer and electronic music DJ, and he's been toying with folk- and bluegrass-style vocals in some of his recordings, including recent hits "Wake Me Up" and "Hey Brother." Bentley released his album Riser last month, and in an interview with Radio.com he explained the life events and at-times "crazy" emotions behind the release. "It's crazy with touring and family and your dad passing away and at the same time your son is born," he said. "As a songwriter, [you have to] keep that honesty and somehow put life into a three-minute-and-30-second song in different snippets throughout the whole album. That was the main challenge, and I feel like I was able to do that." Check out the cover here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
