Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Team For 'Shine' Lyric Video
. (Radio.com) Gwen Stefani recently teamed up with Pharrell for a feel-good anthem called 'Spark the Fire," and now she's released a new song with the singer/rapper/producer that is, if possible, even more feel-good. Between them, Stefani and Pharrell have made their fair share of relatively raunchy music, from The Sweet Escape to N.E.R.D. This song, though, is entirely G-rated because of its audience: it's the lead single off the forthcoming Paddington soundtrack. 'What a wonderful opportunity, as a parent, to contribute to something as classic, authentic, and generational to all of our lives, as Paddington Bear," said Pharrell, whose 6-year-old son Rocket is presumably the film's target audience. The lyric video features clips from the film, in which the iconic bear finds himself in all manner of mishaps. Meanwhile Pharrell and Stefani croon their way through a number of inspirational platitudes: " Hey, if it feels right, it ain't wrong," sings Skateboard P, which Gwen follows with 'I just wanna shine."
