Young Thug Backtracks Metro Boomin Criticisms
. The whole thing started when Metro Boomin, who has been a key player in Future's numerous and well-received mixtapes, went on Twitter and said other rappers shouldn't follow in Future's footsteps by releasing mixtape after mixtape. That might have worked for Future, he explained, but it wouldn't necessarily work for anyone else. The seemingly innocuous comments didn't appear to be directed towards anyone in particular, but Young Thug saw it differently. He went on Twitter and began calling Metro Boomin out for not naming names in his so-called accusation. "Put some names on that s- lil boy," he tweeted the rapper. After firing off a few more choice tweets, Young Thug backtracked and apologized for getting so worked up. "I have nun in the world against future I listen to his music His music makes me happy and I hope he continues to bless me and others with it," he wrote. See the tweets here.
