(Radio.com) Jay Z presented Lebron James with the Sports Illustrated's Sportsperson of the Year award on December 12th in Brooklyn. During his speech Hova fired a subtle shot at New York Knicks president Phil Jackson.

In a November interview with ESPN Jackson accused the star player of making the Miami Heat (James' former team) change travel plans to accommodate his "posse." James fired back, taking issue with the term Jackson used to describe his team, including his business partner Maverick Carter.

"We know where we come from," Jay said in his speech. "We do understand where we come from, and the only difference between us and someone who has their MBA from Wharton or Sloan or Berkeley or Stanford is opportunity. LeBron James has provided his friends with that opportunity." Read more here.
