Pete Yorn Streams New Song 'Halifax' (Top Story)

.
On Monday Pete Yorn Streams New Song 'Halifax' was a top story. Here is the recap: (Capitol) Pete Yorn has released the new song "Halifax". The new single is also a track from his forthcoming sixth full-length studio album "ArrangingTime", which is set to be released on March 11th. Capitol sent over the following details:

ArrangingTime runs the gamut from elegiac folk to wasteland blues to upbeat, synth-kissed rock. Of course, some things never change. Yorn still plays the observer, stepping into characters (such as the bus-stop sitter in the dreamy "Halifax") - or his past selves from previous years - routing wistful poems and beatific visions through the weather-beaten voice of a man who's seen a few things in his time.

"I'm an observer," says Yorn. "I'm into subtleties, the moments between moments, but I don't pretend to know where all the ideas come from. I try to clear myself, create a melody and let that emotion dictate what comes out."

The new album marks Yorn's first collaboration with producer R. Walt Vincent since 2001's RIAA Gold-certified debut, musicforthemorningafter, and its follow-up, Day I Forgot. Stream the new song - here.
