(Radio.com) There might be trouble brewing with the name Kylie. Kylie Jenner has applied to trademark the name, Kylie, according to World Intellectual Property Review and Kylie Minogue is not pleased.

The US trademark application was received last August, but KDB, an Australian-based business representing Minogue, filed a notice of opposition to the application last week on February 22.

In the notice, KDB said Jenner is a "secondary reality television personality" who has received criticism from disability rights groups and African-American communities. They also said that there are existing trademark registrations for the term 'Kylie' that cover entertainment services and music recordings. She also owns the domain name, kylie.com.
