Beatles� �1� lives up to its name

Even after 30 years the Beatles has top selling power. The compilation of previous No. 1 hits from the fab four dominated record charts across the world last week. The 27 track album features tracks from the 7 year carreer of the band. 

The aptly titled �1� sold 594,000 copies in the U.S. alone securing the top spot on the Bill Board Top 200 this week as well as going to number one in 18 other countires including the U.K., France,  This is the 18th number one album for the legendary band in the U.S.

Other chart news:

The Offspring new offering Conspiracy of One debuted in the Top 10 at no. 9 having sold 125,000 copies last week. 

Marilyn Manson�s controversial new album, Holy Wood (In the Shadow of the Valley of Death) entered the charts at No. 13.
