The Doors new drummer Stewart Copeland, broke his arm over the Thanksgiving weekend when he fell from his bicycle on a path near his Los Angeles home. Copeland best known as a member of The Police along with The Cults lead vocalist Ian Astbury were tapped earlier this year to join original Doors keyboardist Ray Manzarek and lead guitarist Robby Krieger to front the new incarnation of the group following successful performances together at two summer music festivals.
The tour was set to kick off on Sunday (Dec 8th) at The Palms in Las Vegas but now fans will have to wait until next year to see the new Doors in concert.
