Details are sketchy about the injury that cause the band to pull out of three schedule appearance this week: Mondays show in Cuyahoga Falls, OH (July 15) Tonights show in Noblesville, In (July 17) and tomorrow nights show in Columbus, Ohio (July 18).
Because the band has been tight lipped about the specifics of the injury that cause these cancellations, speculations are running wild. The most prevalent rumor is that lead vocalist, Julian Casablancas, injured his knee but we have had no confirmation of this.
We do know that the Strokes are planning to head out on a headlining tour this Fall in support of their hit album, Is This It. Dates have not yet been announced but the bands official website states that the tour will take place this October and November.
