Forget The Osbournes, some savvy television producer should start a new court drama revolving around the life and legal times of former Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee.
The latest battle between Tommy Lee and his ex-wife Pamela Anderson was kicked off last week when Anderson issued a statement claiming that Lee infected her with Hepatitis C.
"It is true I have hepatitis C and have undergone outpatient treatment at UCLA Medical Center," Anderson said in a statement. "I contracted hepatitis C while sharing a tattoo needle with my ex-husband Tommy Lee. Tommy has the disease and never disclosed it to me during our marriage "
The Lee camp countered Andersons statement with their own press release late last week, "Due to the overwhelming press calls generated by Pamela Anderson's press release issued about Tommy Lee and his pending custody proceedings, the following is our response to her accusations.
"There have been no court orders since Pam's request for monitored visitation was denied. We believe that all of her recent and outrageous allegations are a reaction to her court-ordered deposition taken on March 8th. Because the custody evaluation is ongoing and court proceedings are pending, further comment is not appropriate at this time. Her actions today are a clear attack on Tommy, and hopefully she will realize that she is only doing more harm to her children and herself by trying to use the media as a tool to hurt Tommy and their two boys."
Lee and Anderson are currently in a legal battle over custody of their children. Lee is also being sued by the parents of a 4-year-old boy who drowned to death last June in the pool at Lees Malibu home while attending a birthday party for Tommy and Pams 5 year-old son Brandon. (see story)
