Aside from Cuomos guest vocals, Korns Brian "Head" Welch has recorded guitar tracks for a couple of songs on the disc and former Helmet frontman Page Hamilton has also recorded with Durst and company.
The album is tentatively set for an April 1st release (April Fools??).
Limp Bizkit has yet to officially replace former guitarist, Wes Borland, who left the group last year.
The show must go on for Borland. His new group, Eat The Day, is current accepting submissions from vocalists. Below is a message that was Posted earlier this month on the official Eat The Day website.
Hey people,
So this whole going public with the singer
search thing wasn't such a bad idea after all. We will be meeting with
an actual real live human bean that sent us a recording of his amazing
voice. If you sent in a demo and have not been contacted, we really appreciate
your time, but we won't be calling or writing most of you back. We don't
have the energy that it would take to do that. Just know that we really
are grateful for all of your interest in what we are doing.
Please continue to send demos in. Here's
all the contact info once again:
