While "Troubled Times" is his first album AM's music is far from being a stranger to the airwaves. AM has seen his music become a part of MTV's Real World series, HBO's Big Love, the ABC series Life as We Know It and What About Brian; as well as, participating in the SXSW and Voodoo Music Festivals.
From the opening track "Gone Away" where AM's music is simplistic in nature yet almost haunting to a point where you can't wait to see what he will do next. Recorded sporadically over a nine month period AM covers the gambit from simple yet beautiful melodies to songs with complex layers that are well crafted using simple musical methods that are far from monotonous and boring.
