Grand easily fills the void left by the demise of the Gin Blossoms and the Posies (well they are supposed to be broken up but still manage to pop-up for live performances all over the place). Grand’s self-titled debut offers up a collection of infectious guitar driven power-pop. Strong melodies, rich harmonies, exceptional song writing, masterful guitars and the poignant vocals of Jason Karaban combine to deliver a CD that helps keep power-pop a vibrant and moving genre of music.
