not 666 |
KNAC reports: Behold the number of the beast.
For it is a human number. That number is six hundred and SIXTEEN???
Don't tell Bruce Dickinson, but scientists
at McGill University recently deciphered a fragment of the oldest surviving
copy of the New Testament and the analysis revealed that 666 is not the
fabled Number of the Beast after all. The conclusion of the scientists
is the mark of the Antichrist is actually 616.
The tiny fragment of 1,500-year-old papyrus
is written in Greek, the original language of the New Testament, and contains
a key passage from the Book of Revelation. [see full story for more]-

Label
Vs Linkin Park |
IOL reports: Executives at Warner Music Group
have lashed back at Linkin Park's bid to free themselves from their contract,
insisting their managers have stirred up the stand-off by concocting "fictitious
numbers."
The rockers announced they're seeking immediate
release from their contract with Warner Music, claiming new deals are geared
towards making investors rich and not benefitting the artists.
But executives insist the group is being
misled by management.
In a statement to music magazine Rolling
Stone, a Warners spokesman says: "The band's management is using fictitious
numbers and making baseless charges and inflammatory threats in what is
clearly a negotiating tactic. [see full story for more]-

Jackson
in Major Dept |
antiMusic reports: Michael Jackson may have
to declare Neverland Ranch a sovereign nation as his spending habits seem
to parallel that of a government. A forensic accountant testified for the
prosecution in the Jackson molestation trial on Tuesday and said that Jackson
was $285 million in debt at the time the damaging documentary "Living With
Michael Jackson" aired.
The prosecutor's case so far speculates
that the release of that documentary set off a chain reaction related to
the young accuser in the case where Jackson reportedly held the boy and
his family captive while attempting to force them to film statements to
counter the damage done when "Living With Michael Jackson" aired in February
2003. Witnesses testified that there may have also been a plot to kidnap
the family and fly them out of the country. [see full story for more]-
