Manager Murdered
AP reports: A former tour manager for artists such as Billy Joel and Paul Simon was fatally stabbed during an argument with his girlfriend in his Manhattan apartment, police said. 

Daniel L. Harrison was pronounced dead at New York University Medical Center on Sunday afternoon from numerous stab wounds to his torso, police spokesman Sgt. Reginald Watkins said. [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Blabbermouth reports: Chris Vranian of Recre-art.com has contacted BLABBERMOUTH.NET to refute a report that Ozzy Osbourne is one of the first celebrities to order a life-size silicone clone of himself. 

Says Vranian: "My wife and I are the owners of Recre-art.com. We created the Ozzy sculpture that you mention in your story [originally published by ContactMusic.com and picked up by BLABBERMOUTH.NET]. Just for the record, Ozzy did NOT order this. 50 Cent Shooting Link
MTV reports: [this is a developement in the Murder Inc trial.]During a round of questioning that occurred without the jury present, Jon Ragin, a friend and former business associate of McGriff's, told the court he'd had several conversations with McGriff about 50 Cent.

On May 24, 2000, Ragin � who's in the Federal Witness Protection Program for reasons not related to the Gotti trial � said he received a call from McGriff, who said he had "hurt 50." McGriff wanted to speak with Ragin, and a meeting was set up in a Brooklyn garage. Ragin told the court McGriff sounded "rushed" on the phone, and when he asked him "what was up," McGriff told him, "We got him" � a reference to 50 Cent, Ragin later learned. U2 Down Under
Reuters reports: U2 will return to Australia for the first time in eight years next March when it plays four shows as part of its Vertigo world tour.

Link Wray RIP
AP reports: Guitar master Link Wray, the father of the power chord in rock 'n' roll who inspired such legends as Bruce Springsteen, David Bowie and Pete Townshend, has died. He was 76. 

Wray died Nov. 5 at his home in Copenhagen, his wife and son said on his Web site. No cause of death was given, but his family said his heart was "getting tired." He was buried Friday after a service at Copenhagen's Christian Church. [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Gigwise reports: The Bravery have revealed that they don't plan to release their second album until at least this time next year.

Blabbermouth reports: Police are looking into the employment of a police constable who is frontman of a thrash metal band, which calls for the eradication of the "weak and inferior". 

By day the heavily tattooed Rigel Walshe works as a court escort in the Counties Manukau police district [in New Zealand]. 

But in his spare time he is lead singer and bass guitarist of the band DAWN OF AZAZEL in his spare time.

BW&BK reports: Columbia Records will issue PINK FLOYD's Pulse on DVD on Tuesday, January 17th.
