05/15/06
.
(antiMusic) A lot of people work hard to make antiMusic what it is. So with our 8th anniversary we felt it was time to spotlight each writer so you can get to know them a little better. Over the next few weeks we will be posting a small portion of each staff person's new profile page. So let's get to know Dr Fever a little better.

Dr Fever has been with antiMusic since 1999. The first cassette he purchased was Poison's "Look What The Cat Dragged In" his first CD was Green Day's "Dookie" and his first concert was "with my parents to see George Jones...I remember him being so blindingly drunk he cut the show short. Hilarious." He lists Clutch, Cave In, ISIS, Waylon Jennings, Fiona Apple, Ryan Adams, Black Sabbath, High On Fire, KillWhitneyDead, Sick of It All, Converge and Bloodjinn as his Top 12 Favorite artist. His musical pet peeve is "People like Karen O. I often pray that she, and people like her, get hit by a speeding train." His favorite part of antiMusic is "Not having to pay to see Clutch" Click the full story to learn more about Dr Fever and discover how he got to party with Dimebag and members of Slayer, who he saves the most venom for (hint it's a she) and a lot more!
