Now, Eric Adams vocalist of the inimitable heavy metal band Manowar and Chester Moore esteemed zoologist, outdoorsman, and wildlife journalist have joined forces to create a unique and exciting look into the adventurous world of outdoor life in Wild Life and Wild Times.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Rock n Women: Sierra Swan
antiMusic reports: Today's spotlight artist won't have you banging your head but she rocks in her uniqueness. In any field of cookie-cutter pop princesses Sierra Swan would stand head and shoulders above the pack because her music is definitely not like everything you hear on the Top 40 countdown. Sierra rocks the current conventional wisdom of the major labels who seem content to sign up pretty faces with limited talent and forgettable music that is interchangeable. Her new CD comes out today and Morley spoke with Sierra recently about a variety of topics. In this excerpt she explains how she broke through major-label clone machine mold by leaving one label that didn't get her and found a new home and a legendary producer that allowed her to do her own thing.

antiMUSIC: Tell us about the record. How long has this been in the works?

Sierra Swan: The real answer is like about seven years. I was on Atlantic before Interscope and that was a real difficult time just because they weren't necessarily understanding where I was coming from musically. They were having me work with a bunch of different people that you know, didn't really understand what I was doing either. So I was recording a lot by myself and then when I met Linda, she heard all these recordings that I did by myself and she was like, "This is a record. You know what I mean? Your record is not with all these other producers." And you know the ball dropped with Atlantic. Thank God Linda was there to pick me up and got me to Interscope. And that was about four years ago. I took, likeyou know, a four year trip to get to this point. And Linda said this is your record. "Let's record this. And I was so amazed when I heard that.
