(PR) Ironworks Music's debut artist, Rocco DeLuca and The Burden has been chosen by VH1 as the channel's new "You Oughta Know" artist beginning today, October 2. The band will be touring the US with UK rockers The Feeling in October and Robert Randolph in November along with a slew of other dates, including a performance on the Late Show with David Letterman on November 9th. "I Trust You To Kill Me" the documentary featuring Rocco DeLuca and The Burden along with label owner and band "tour manager" Kiefer Sutherland has just completed its theatrical run in NY and LA and is currently showing at the Lumiere Theatre in San Francisco. The film has received glowing reviews in Rolling Stone, Daily Variety, LA Times and more.

The "You Oughta Know" campaign will be focused around the bands first single, "Colorful" and their [email protected] performance will premiere on VSPOT , VH1's broadband channel, on October 2 and will include the songs Colorful, Bus Ride, Gift and Swing Low. Their video will begin rotation on the channel shortly after. "Colorful" is currently #18 on the Mediabase AAA chart and is on its way to the top 10. DeLuca's song, described by Billboard as "a fiery, appreciably organic display of his compelling, untamed vocal stylings, lyrical vulnerability and innate skill with melody" is currently being played by top stations across the country.
