(PR) Mark Spybey, a.k.a. Dead Voices On Air, has been actively creating sonic abstracts for twenty years and then some. Having worked with Industrial eccentric pioneers such as Download and Zoviet France, Spybey formed Dead Voices On Air following a move from Northern England to Vancouver. A long with shifting to focus on his own project, he collaborated on over 50 albums in a 5 year period. The latest release from Dead Voices On AIr, "From Labrador To Madagascar" features 9 chilling tracks of pulsating cuts, swells, static, bleeps, bursts, and airy pads. Experimental and absolutely innovative, Spybey's current work incorporates organic and electronic sound fonts in both improvisation and pre-meditated calculation. At times haunting, maddening, and abrasive, and at others rhythmical and soothing, Dead Voices On Air encompasses the scope of existence in a manner far beyond the reaches of convention. Releasing on the revered Invisible Records, the album is due out on January 30th.[see full story for more] - Click here for the Full Story
