. (PR) The Rock Ridge Music label has just launched a site to share its artists� music for free: www.rockridgefree.com. One song from eight different artists will be featured at any given time on the site; debut artists for the launch include: Redding, Tony Lucca, Five.Bolt.Main, Psychostick, Travis Mitchell Band, Blanco Diablo, The Accident Experiment, and Boy Hits Car. Music fans can sign up to receive email notification when the site offerings are changed. Initially, plans are in place to rotate available songs once a month, but more frequent content rotation is planned after the Christmas holidays so that folks can load up their brand new iPods.

Rock Ridge Free was created in an effort to assist in building artist careers. "We like to share tastes of the musical offerings from our talented artists, so that music fans can be exposed to them and decide for themselves if they like them,� say label principal Jason Spiewak. �They can be judge and jury on the artist�s success.� While the initial offerings will be from frontline label releases, Rock Ridge plans to open the service to their online marketing clients who wish to participate as well.
