"Oroborus": This song is about the immortality of the soul. I thought it was interesting to start an album about death with a song about eternal life. The "Oroborus" or "Oroboros" is also called "The Tail Devourer," a serpent or dragon devouring his own tail, a mystical animal from ancient mythology.
The first riff is a weird thing, asymmetric and dissonant, there's an impression of cycle motion that fits with the idea of circle of lives. It's the first song we composed and it's the opening song for the album.
