Those mysterious health reasons were never disclosed and that reported hospitalization happened on Sat where the band's website said at the time "No further shows will be canceled. We anticipate Joey making a full recovery and continuing the tour in Kennewick, WA on Sunday." That show was postponed and then when Monday rolled around the band contradicted that further by announcing that the remaining August and September have been "canceled due to illness."
However, Blabbermouth Posted a statement from bassist Paul Gray on Wednesday where he said "There are PERSONAL issues in the band that NEED to be taken care of for us to continue touring. Let me emphasize JOEY IS NOT DEAD/DYING, **HE IS FINE**. We have been working hard for the last year and a half on the 'All Hope Is Gone' touring cycle and it catches up to you, as I said earlier, but I am very sorry. We had to cancel to the two-week run but are desperately trying to make those shows up in our October tour." Draw your own conclusions, but you can read his full statement - here
