Honor Bright Streaming New Album, Announce 8 Release Shows
. The full-length, produced by former A Day To Remember guitarist Tom Denney and Go Radio front man Jason Lancaster (ex‐Mayday Parade), is set for release this Tuesday, July 20th on Triple Crown Records (Brand New, Hit The Lights). Listen to it here Honor Bright ‐ who've drawn comparisons to bands like Taking Back Sunday, Mayday Parade, and All Time Low ‐ began in 2006, following a short‐lived hardcore stint between founding front man Liam DiCosimo and guitarist/vocalist Tim Paige. "We didn't want to just call it quits, so we decided we were going to start playing the kind of music we grew up listening to, like Green Day and MXPX. Something closer to a pop‐punk sound," explains DiCosimo. "But, because we all came from rock & roll and hardcore bands, we wanted to still have that rock edge to it." By the close of 2006, bassist Anthony Merritt, drummer Curt Henry, and guitarist Ryan Gilmore joined the fold, solidifying the band's lineup.
