Donavon Frankenreiter Summer Tour
. "I am so excited to get back to the east coast to play some music and catch some waves. We will be performing songs off the Revisited record that is all Hawaiian style and our upcoming album Glow, " says Donavon. After moving to Hawaii two years ago Donavon could not help but notice how beautiful the Hawaiian music was. Inspired by his surroundings, he went into a studio in Kauai and picked 10 songs off his first album to re-record with a Hawaiian feel-using ukulele, lap steel, slack key guitar and other Hawaiian instruments. "It was so much fun to go and revisit an album I had done in Hawaii six years earlier but with a different feel. I hope you enjoy revisiting these songs with some Hawaiian instruments as much as we did," Donavon says. Revisited will be available on June 15th through iTunes, Hawaiian Billabong stores, and your favorite record store. The album will also be arriving soon to additional Hawaiian retailers. In celebration of Revisited Sanuk sandals created a music video for the single, "Heading Home." The art in the video was inspired by Donavon's 7-year-old-son, who also created Revisited's album artwork. This fall, Donavon will release his fourth studio album, Glow. June 30th Ft.
