King Creosote and Jon Hopkins To Deliver Diamond Mine
. Diamond Mine was born from the admiration of Jon Hopkins for Scottish singer / songwriter King Creosote. Jon picked a selection of his favorite tracks of Kenny's (aka King Creosote's), and had Kenny re-record the vocals before Jon composed his own melodies for each song. The result is at once gentle and epic. Though the subject matter is heavily rooted in the parochial Scottish and English countryside, the themes are universal...all touching on the sweet sadness of life. Jon Hopkins and King Creosote will both be playing shows in the US soon, though separately for their individual projects. King Creosote
