Making of Paul McCartney's Classic Coming Up Video
. McCartney II was Macca's first solo album in 10 years when it was released in 1980. Among the tracks on the album was the single, "Coming Up," which went to #1 in the U.S. in June of that year. The song is largely remembered for its video, which cast Paul and wife Linda in a variety of roles in a fictional band called The Plastic Macs (a play on John Lennon's Plastic Ono Band).
