Kip Moore Has Almost Finished New Album
. In an interview with Radio.com earlier this year, Moore said the next record is going to be "completely different." "I can't wait for people to hear what's coming next. It's still going to fit in me and what I do but it's going to be so different than this first record because my life is different," he said. "That was what I was experiencing at that one time, things like 'Crazy One More Time' and 'Up All Night.' This next one is going to be a different kind of thing because my life has changed a lot." While he's still in the early stages, Moore said there will be a track on the new album called "New York City," which he wrote the night before playing New York's Bowery Ballroom. "I've been coming here now for the last two years, and as massive as this city is, it's so alive and it's so great, but for a guy like me coming from such a small town it can just gobble you up," he admitted. "I get so overwhelmed sometimes walking outside. I look like the most confused individual on the block. I got back to my room after having a fun night [in New York], but it was the most lonely feeling I had ever felt in that moment looking out the hotel window. Maybe it was just from being on the road for so long and the city being so large. I wrote one of my favorite songs I've ever written called 'New York City.'" Now that sophomore album is just about ready. "We're going in to finish the record this week," Moore told Billboard. "Now, we're just trying to figure out what we want to come with first." more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
