Mastodon Recruit Nick Raskulinecz For Epic New Album

(TeamRock Radio) Mastodon drummer Brann Dailor has vowed the follow-up to 2011's The Hunter will be "epic." They've hired Grammy winning producer Nick Raskulinecz (Rush, Foo Fighters, Evanescence) for the release, due next year.

Dailor tells Rolling Stone: "Nick is a rock guy. I'm a fan of all the Deftones records he's done, the Alice In Chains stuff and he worked with Queens Of The Stone Age on Songs For The Deaf.

"It's going to be massive and insane," he continues. "Lots of epic greatness, lots of huge riffs and new directions. The snowball keeps rolling and collecting snow." more on this story
