Mariah Carey's Label Deny Surprise Album Plans

The current Billboard cover girl, Carey admits that a Beyonc� approach to her album was discussed as she wanted her fans to hear the album "as a body of work" and experience it "as if they were listening to it with me for the first time," she told Billboard. Several interviews from Jermaine Dupri confirmed this discussion, but Carey's record label Def Jam said that the album won't be a complete surprise.
