Chief Keef Debuts New Track Granny's

. (Radio.com) 'She said 'ain't you Chief Keef?'" Chief Keef immortalizes a sentence he must have heard thousands of times on his latest song, 'Granny's." The cryptic title belies a fairly standard iteration of his drill sound, closer to the standards set by his breakout hits like 'I Don't Like" and 'Love Sosa" than the more abstract, wandering sounds on his recent Back From The Dead 2 mixtape.

Clips of Granny's have been floating around the internet for a while, but the chances of an official release for the song seemed dicey at best. Now that Keef's been released from Interscope, though, all bets are off.

Although 'Granny's" finds Keef using a recognizable flow and potent rhyme schemes, it's not without surprises--namely, a strange 20-second reverb-laden breakdown about halfway through that's closer to ambient sound art than anything you might hear on the radio.
