The Black Keys Beat Michael Jackson To No. 1

(hennemusic) The Black Keys have landed their first US No. 1 album as "Turn Blue" debuts atop the Billboard 200 chart this week beating out the King of Pop by a few thousand copies.

"Turn Blue" sold 164,000 copies in its first week to beat "Xscape", the new release by Michael Jackson, according to Billboard. The margin of victory for The Black Keys over Jackson was just 7,000 copies (164,000 - 157,000).

"Turn Blue" is the third top 10 album for the band, following the No. 2 debut of their last album, 2011's "El Camino", and 2010's "Brothers", which debuted and peaked at No. 3. more on this story
