Former Smiths Guitarist Johnny Marr Releasing Memoir
. (Gibson) Former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr is telling all in a new memoir. Marr is currently working on his autobiography, which is set to arrive on Century in the fall of 2016. A paperback version will follow in 2017. "For the past few years as I've been out on tour promoting my solo work fans and journalists have been asking me when I'll write my book," Marr said on his official website. "I'm very happy to say that the time has come to tell my story." Ben Dunn, publishing director of Century, added, "It's the book Smiths fans have been waiting their whole lives and the early material that Johnny has written is utterly breathtaking."
