(Radio.com) Errol Brown, best known for making everyone's nighttime playlists a lot sexier, has passed away at the age of 71. As the frontman for Hot Chocolate, the Kingston-born singer gave the world hits such as "You Sexy Thing," "Emma," "So You Win Again," "Every 1's a Winner," "It Started With a Kiss" and "Brother Louie."

Brown passed away in his Bahamas home on Wednesday after battling liver cancer, according to the BBC. "Errol Brown MBE passed away in The Bahamas this morning with his wife Ginette and daughters Colette and Leonie by his side of liver cancer," reads a statement delivered by Brown's manager Phil Dale.

"Errol was a lover of life and obviously 'music!' I never went into his home, car or a hotel room without music playing," he continued. "Errol was a 'Gentle Man' and was a personal friend of mine who will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him." Read more here.
