Wu-Tang's Ghostface Killah Fires Back at Martin Shkreli
. The back story: Wu-Tang Clan recorded an album, Once Upon a Time in Shaolin, and pressed only one copy, that was sold for $2 million to Martin Shkreli. But that's not what Shkreli is infamous for. His former company, Turing Pharmaceuticals obtained the manufacturing license for the antiparasitic drug Daraprim and raised the price of one tablet ($13.50 to $750 per tablet) by 5,556 percent, infuriating, basically, everyone in the world. Fast forward After being insulted by Ghostface, Shkreli threatens to eliminate Ghostface's vocals from the album, even going as far as threatening to destroy the album on video, making threat towards the Wu-Tang Emcee. "You hilarious man," says Ghostface in the newly posted video response. "You must be on Ritalin or something man. You a fake-a- super-villian or somethin'." The emcee then goes on an eleven-minute shredding of the former CEO. "I don't even know how it came to this. It's like Ghostface versus Peter Pan 2016." But that's the best part. Cue in to five minutes to see Ghostface's mother give Shkreli a verbal a- whoopin'. Watch the video here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com. |
