Cream's Ginger Baker Has 'Serious Heart Problems'

Cream legend Ginger Baker has been forced to cancel his upcoming live performances due to "serious heart problems," according to an announcement from his team via social media.

Team Baker posted the following message on Facebook, "To all fans; it is with great sadness that we announce the cancellation of all shows. Ginger's doctor's have insisted that he have complete rest due to diagnosis of serious heart problems. We hope you will all join with his family in wishing him well. God bless Ginger Baker. "

Baker had planned to launch a short UK tour in April with shows in Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow, and London. He had also booked U.S. shows in May including stops in Massachusetts, Maryland, Indiana, and Tennessee.

The cancelations also include Baker's scheduled appearance at this year's Ramblin' Man Fair in Kent (UK) which will be taking place in late July.
