50 Cent Teases 'Kanan Reloaded' And Slams 'Power' Award Snubs

(Radio.com) 50 Cent is doubling down with his Kanan Reloaded mixtape, which he says should be out soon. But, based on a recent Instagram message, the rapper is not happy about with his awards haul for his TV show "Power," from which the name Kanan was born.

In an effort to cross-promote his music and the TV enterprise, the Kanan Reloaded project is based on his character, Kanan, from the Starz series "Power" and is an addition to the Kanan Tape he released at the end of 2015.

But while "Power" has been well received by audiences, he is still not happy about being passed over for awards nominations. "I guess people don't like my show, it's to real maybe," he posted on Tuesday (Jan. 5). "Well who cares, I'll make it so big that no one cares about awards anymore. Hell I can give my self a damn trophy tomorrow. KANAN ??? I'm shooting everybody f-k it.#EFFENVODKA." Check out 50's messages here.
