Rich Homie Quan Flubs Notorious B.I.G. Lyrics

(Radio.com) It might be an artist's worst nightmare: Forgetting the lyrics during a live performance. Rich Homie Quan experienced just that last night (July 11th) when he tried, and failed, to pay tribute to Notorious B.I.G. at the 2016 VH1 Hip Hop Honors. Lil' Kim invited Rich Homie Quan out to rap part of "Get Money," and although things started off fine, he eventually grew quiet and appeared to forget the song's lyrics. After completing the first rhyme, Rich Homie Quan took to a corner of the stage and improvised hype words to keep the audience on board. Lil' Kim held her own without his help, but the whole performance ended up feeling soft. Rich Homie Quan sure looked the part, though. He took the stage wearing Biggie's iconic Coogie sweater (via XXL Mag). Twitter, naturally, wasn't about to let him get away with anything. Viewers have been overloading the social media platform with all sorts of criticisms, including the fact that he chose to dress the part but couldn't actually play the part.
