AC/DC Respond To Axl Rose Rumors

The AC/DC camp has a vague response to rumors that Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose will be taking over lead vocals for Brian Johnson for the remaining dates of the Rock Or Bust tour.

The band postponed the dates, saying that Johnson faced permanent hearing loss if they continued. They also revealed that they might continue the tour with a special guest singer.

Earlier this week, Jason Bailey, a DJ at Rock 100.5 in Atlanta, where Rose was recently spotted, told listeners "This is what I'm being told: Axl was meeting with the AC/DC group - because it's all but a done deal that Axl will front AC/DC for the 10 remaining shows. All 10, including Atlanta."

NME reached out to the AC/DC camp to get a response to the rumor and they neither confirmed it, nor denied it. They simply said, "Nothing official to announce. Will update you if that changes." Read their report here.
