Mike Tyson Releases Soulja Boy Diss Track 'If You Show Up'

(Radio.com) Soulja Boy has had an interesting few weeks, feuding with Chris Brown and ultimately consenting to a celebrity boxing match against the singer. Brown retained Mike Tyson as a trainer, and the boxing legend found himself on the receiving end of Soulja Boy's diss tracks "Hit Em with the Draco" and "Stop Playing With Me."

On his response "If You Show Up," Tyson unloads his own profanity filled insults. The video contains a bevy of models and full-length audio of Tyson's fiercest burns: He takes swipes at Soulja Boy and the rapper's trainer, Floyd Mayweather.

"I'm Mike Tyson, the greatest ever /Mayweather, fairweather I seen your fights man /a lot of hype, man /And Soulja gon wish you never took the fight man." Watch the explicit video for "If You Show Up" here.

Lil Wayne 'Tha Carter V' Track Clip Goes Online

(Radio.com) Lil Wayne has promised it, Birdman has confirmed it, but now it's really sounding as though fans will finally get to hear Tha Carter V in 2017. Lil Wayne Headquarters, a fan and news account, shared a snippet of "Life of Mr. Carter" on Instagram Tuesday (January 17th).

The track reportedly appears on Tha Carter V. "Life of Mr. Carter" has a steady rhythm, but it's Weezy's verses that reveal his talent. He's looking for a lady to stand by his side and remain true to the end.

"Especially when these hoes ain't right, these hoes ain't loyal/ What's wrong or right, and what's the order," he raps, before illustrating the type of woman he needs with "I'll be A-OK as long as my wife could cook a quarter/ Type of st I won't take for granted." Jamiroquai Announce First Headline Shows In Six Years

Jamiroquai is returning in a big way this year. They have announced that they will be playing their first headlines show in over six years this spring and summer.

They will be headlining a series of global music festivals beginning with Tokyo International Forum on May 25th and concluding with an appearance at Festival Sudoeste in Portugal on August 5th.

Additional appearances include the Seoul Jazz Festival on May 28th, Release Athens Festival on June 17th, North Sea Jazz festival in Rotherdam, the Moon & Stars festival in Switzerland and more. See all of the dates here.

7-Year-Old Nails Taylor Swift Impersonation

(Radio.com) It takes a special talent to be Taylor Swift and to even be able perform with the grace and charisma of Tay-Tay. You might have to search the world to find such a star--and if you did, you'd locate one in the Philippines.

Seven-year-old girl Xia Vigor was booked on the Philippine TV show Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids, a talent show competition in which children imitate their favorite stars.

The British Filipina contestant nailed Swift's "You Belong to Me" and delivered the song with all the gestures, winks and stage moves of her hero. Clearly, she's been studying hard. Watch iy here.

Red Hot Chili Peppers and Imagine Dragons Lead Lollapalooza Paris

(Radio.com) Lollapalooza, the popular music festival held in Chicago each year, is getting a Paris counterpart, and several big names are slated to kick things off in style.

Red Hot Chili Peppers, Imagine Dragons, Lana Del Rey, and DJ Snake will be headlining the very first Lollapalooza Paris. All told, there will be over 40 artists who perform across the four stages.

London Grammar, Alt-J, Pixies, The Roots, Marshmello, Liam Gallagher, The Hives, Martin Solveig, I AM, La Femme are also on the bill. Read more here.

Idina Menzel Announces North American Tour

Idina Menzel has announced the details for the North American leg of her 2017 world tour that she is launching this spring and summer in support of her 2016 album "idina".

The tour leg is scheduled to kick off on April 7 in Uniondale, NY at the Nassau Coliseum and will be concluding on September 3rd in Phoenix, AZ at the Comerica Theatre.

Prior to the American dates, Medzel will be traveling to Japan for a handful of dates beginning on March 29th in Osaka. She has announced additional Japanese dates in Nagoya and Tokyo. See the dates here.

Dan + Shay Release 'How Not To' Video

(Radio.com) Dan + Shay look at how love can save lives in their new music video for "How Not To." The video follows two recovering addicts who first cross eyes at an Alcoholic's Anonymous meeting and spark when one makes the other laugh.

Sophie (Katie Stevens) is a waitress who can't stop drinking on the job while Noah (Pierson Fode) is a member of Dan + Shay's band who finds that his behavior is getting in the way of his passion (via The Boot).

Over the course of the video, Sophie and Noah spiral out, their addictions getting the best of them, but it turns out that build-up was actually an extended flashback.

"How Not To" switches gears towards the end when the couple show up at a one-year sobriety party that Dan + Shay and their other friends throw them. Their love for one another helps them make it through their first year of recovery. "How Not To" appears on Dan + Shay's sophomore album Obsessed. Watch the video here.

Eric Church Played 37 Songs During Tour Kick Off

(EBM) Country music star Eric Church played an extensive 37 song set during the opening night of his Holdin' My Own Tour which took place last Friday, (Jan 13th) in Lincoln, Nebraska. We were sent this recap:

Following the opening show at the Pinnacle Bank Arena, Church stopped in Grand Forks, N.D. at its Ralph Engelstad Arena on Saturday, Jan. 14 and Sioux Falls, S.D. at its Denny Sanford Premier Center on Sunday, Jan. 15, totaling 38,200 fans to whom the tenacious country rocker played.

Performing more than 90 songs and over nine hours in just one weekend, Church and his "superb" (Lincoln Journal Star) band played two complete sets of old and new favorites each night that brought, as the Lincoln Journal Star puts it, "a swinging ode to the power of 'Jack Daniels' complete with shots, small town stories la 'Homeboy' and salutes to 'Talladega' that became a singalong, and a beer-glasses-held-high 'Pledge Allegiance to The Hag.'"

Steve Aoki and Louis Tomlinson To Play Late Night TV

Steve Aoki and One Direction star Louis Tomlinson have announced that they will be performing on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon next Tuesday, January 24th.

The duo will be hitting the late night TV show's stage to perform their global chart topping single "Just Hold On", which they released to much fanfare back in early December.

The track claimed the No. 1 spot on the iTunes charts in 43 countries including the UK. It hit No. 2 in the U.S. and claimed top spots on Spotify charts across the world. Check out a stream here.

Thomas Rhett Adds Dates To Home Team Tour

Thomas Rhett has added additional dates to his debut headlining trek the Home Team Tour. Like most modern country music stars, the details from the dates are being revealed piecemeal.

Rhett has so far announced the additional cites that have been added to the outing which is scheduled to kick off on February 23rd in Saginaw, MI at the Dow Event Center. Additional details are still to be announced.

Rhett had this to say, "It's unreal that we're adding dates before we've even had a chance to get started. It'd be impossible to pick which part of the tour I'm most excited about, but I can't wait to get back out there. We're going to make sure every last person at the show has a good time." Selena Gomez Shares New Recording Studio Clips

(Radio.com) Selena Gomez posted a video to Instagram over the weekend that shows her in the recording studio with songwriters Justin Tranter and Julia Michaels.

The three friends were having a blast, singing and dancing along to Michaels' debut single "Issues," which was released last week. "When the people who changed your life create magic," Gomez posted on Instagram on Sunday (Jan. 15). "I'm so happy for you guys one of my favorite songs they have ever written."

In the studio was also Republic Group president Charlie Walk who shared a video of his own. Songwriter Tranter also got in on the fun with a video of his fellow songwriter Michaels singing along to the song they wrote together. Sigur Ros Announce Special Guests For Upcoming Shows

(Biz3) Sigur Ros have announced that their upcoming performances with the Los Angeles Philharmonic will feature new string arrangements by a cadre of guests that includes electronic composer Dan Deacon; multi-disciplinary composer Nico Muhly (Bjrk, Grizzly Bear, Jnsi); the Polaris Prize winning Arcade Fire collaborator Owen Pallett; plus former composer-in-residence with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Anna Meredith.

There will also be arrangements by the Pulitzer Prize winning composer David Lang, who also scored Paolo Sorrenti's most recent movies (The Great Beauty and Youth); Opera Company of Philadelphia composer in residence, Missy Mazzoli; Icelandic composer Pll Ragnar Plsson; and Daniel Bjarnarson, who first worked with Sigur Rs when he conducted the session on the band's song "ra Btur" at London's Abbey Road for the Me su eyrum...album in 2008, and is co-curator of the Disney Hall's Reykjavk Festival.
The guest arrangers are collaborating with the band on a selection of both old and new songs for the group's three special performances at the Philharmonic's Reykjavk Festival. The shows will also mark the first time the band have played publicly with an orchestra since performances of their unreleased work Odin's Raven Magic in 2002-3. Read more

Darius Rucker Honored by St. Jude Children's Hospital

The ACM Awards Going Vegas This Year

(Radio.com) The Academy of Country Music Awards returns for its 52nd year in 2017 and for this year's festivities organizers have announced that they will be going Vegas!

The awards show, which typically includes a three-day concert event leading up to the ceremony, will be broadcast on April 2nd from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

This marks the ACM Awards' first year at the recently opened arena on the Vegas Strip. The broadcast will feature performances and appearances from some of the most storied names in country music, though announcements have not yet been made about who will be participating. Read more here.

ASAP Ferg Guests On Kirk Knight's New Track 'Setup'

(Radio.com) When A$AP Ferg isn't releasing his own music, he has lots to contribute to other people's. Besides working with Big Sean, Missy Elliott and Jim Jones in 2016, the Harlem rapper is starting off 2017 with "Setup," a fierce new track from Kirk Knight.

The gritty track is a quick one at just over two minutes long, but in that time the pair get their message across. "Setup" finds A$AP Ferg and Knight over everyone's BS and threatening retaliation to anyone who keeps it up.

The song appears ahead of A$AP Mob's annual tribute to A$AP Yams, who died of an accidental drug overdose in 2015. Yams Day will take place on January 18th at the Theater at Madison Square Garden. Besides A$AP Ferg, A$AP Rocky and other members of the A$AP Mob crew, the line-up includes several big and burgeoning names. Lady Gaga 'Training' For Super Bowl Performance

(Radio.com) Lady Gaga is in the midst of preparing for a once in a lifetime performance. The pop star is set to hit one of the biggest stages of her career; the Super Bowl.

Gaga will "perform" on February 5 in Houston, Texas and she's taking preparation very seriously. In several photos uploaded to Instagram the singer shows that she's hard at work with her trainer and dancers to put on a memorable performance.

"Training. Everyday all day," she captions a photo on Monday (Jan. 16) while working out outside on a yoga mat beside her trainer. She even built a tent in her backyard so she and her dancers could prepare.

"SuperBowl Rehearsal is so fun. We built a tent in my backyard with a dancefloor to practice! We love you monsters, can't wait to perform for u!" she writes alongside a video clip. Read more and see the posts here.
