(TMZ) Michael Jackson owes a convicted criminal $1 BILLION for exploiting personal details about her life in his music -- this according to a bizarre lawsuit.
Kimberly Griggs filed the case in San Diego -- claiming she and Jackson had an intimate relationship beginning in 1979, which she says he chronicled in his albums "Off the Wall," "Thriller," "Bad," "Dangerous," and his greatest hits album ... "Number Ones."
Griggs -- who spent years in prison for burglary and robbery -- claims she was pissed that Michael exposed her personal secrets in his tunes, so to make things nice he promised to give her the rights to the songs.
She says she was stunned when MJ died and she was completely left out of his estate.
According to the handwritten lawsuit, Griggs wants $1 billion in damages.
Calls to MJ's Estate weren't returned, but we're guessing their response begins with the letters b and s. more on this story

(TMZ) Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne are a couple of ruthless conquerors, illegally extending their backyard empire in L.A. by annexing neighboring land without permission -- this according to a new lawsuit.
The Mountain View Estate Owners' Association -- which governs the gated community adjacent to the Osbournes' massive Hidden Hills home -- filed the lawsuit in L.A., claiming the Osbournes built a fence in their backyard that extended roughly 8,500 sq. ft. into the Association's land.
According to the lawsuit, a surveyor working for the Association discovered the encroachment on May 2nd. The lawsuit doesn't say whether the Osbournes were ever notified of the alleged trespass.
Now, Mountain View is demanding an order from the court -- requiring the Osbournes to remove their fence and stay the hell off its property.
A judge has yet to rule. Calls to the Osbournes were not returned. more on this story

(TMZ) The children and estranged wife of legendary sports car designer Carroll Shelby -- the guy who designed the epic Mustang and Cobra -- are locked in an epic battle to determine who gets his body -- which has still not been buried a month after his death ... TMZ has learned.
Here's the problem -- Carroll and Cleo Shelby were legally married when he died in Dallas May 10. But here's the deal ... they'd been estranged since he filed for divorce in 2010. Cleo is claiming since she was still married to Carroll, she has the right to control Shelby's body.
But Shelby's kids have a document they say is signed by their dad giving his oldest son the right to his remains.
Now Cleo claims the signature on the document is forged, adding he didn't have the "physical capacity or eyesight" necessary to read or sign the doc.
And there's a twist -- while his divorce petition was pending, Shelby filed a petition just last April seeking to have the marriage annulled. In the annulment docs, Shelby accused Cleo of lying to him for the 14 years they were married -- lying about her real name, her assets and pretty much her entire past.
So for now it's a standoff and the body sits in the freezer at the medical examiner's office. But one thing could turn the tide. A judge is actually allowed to grant the annulment even though Shelby is dead. If that happens, the kids win. more on this story

(TMZ) Amanda Bynes insists she didn't drive under the influence back in April -- pleading "not guilty" to DUI yesterday. Amanda wasn't in court -- her lawyer entered the plea on her behalf.
TMZ broke the story ... Amanda was charged with one count of misdemeanor DUI yesterday -- and the D.A. has sought a sentencing enhancement because the actress refused to take either a breathalyzer or a blood test.
If convicted -- with the sentencing enhancement -- we're told Bynes faces a minimum of 48 hours in jail ... and a maximum of 6 months.
Because of jail overcrowding, it's unlikely Bynes will serve more than a few hours. A pretrial court date has been set for July 18th. more on this story

A month earlier, Myla targeted Kanye West's diss track "Theraflu" -- in which Kanye raps, "And I admit I fell in love with Kim ... 'Round the same time she fell in love with him ... That's cool, babygirl, do your thing ... Lucky I ain't had Jay drop him from the team."
Myla wrote, Kanye should be "bigger than taking petty shots at sh*t that got nothing to do with him. Lost respect."

(TMZ) Timothy Poe -- the stuttering "America's Got Talent" contestant who says he developed his speech impediment from a war injury in Afghanistan -- is firing back at allegations he made up the whole thing ... telling TMZ, his injury and stutter are 100% legit.
Poe's audition aired Monday night -- the singer told the judges about a 2009 incident when he sustained serious injuries during an RPG blast in Afghanistan.
Poe spoke with a pronounced stutter during the audition -- which he claims he developed as a result of his war injuries. But reports surfaced yesterday that the singing veteran was full of crap -- because no such RPG injuries were ever reported.
Poe tells TMZ, the fact that there is no record of the incident is a common problem-- one that Poe says is endemic when it comes to reporting soldiers' injuries in Afghanistan.
We asked Tim to prove it really happened. He said he received treatment at a military medical facility in Afghanistan before being transferred to a medical center in Landstuhl, Germany. Tim says he was then transferred to Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio. He did not produce any documents to support his claim.
Tim says he plans to sue his ex-wife and several others for telling the media he was lying. more on this story

(TMZ) The Allen Wranglers have informed Terrell Owens he can take a long walk off a short pier -- scoffing at the former NFL star's demands for money and an apology.
TMZ broke the story ... Terrell issued an ultimatum to the Wranglers -- 1) cut him a $160,000 check for 4 games he wasn't paid for, and 2) apologize for saying Owens blew off a team charity event at a children's hospital. If the Wranglers don't comply, T.O. has vowed to sue.
Now, sources tell us the Wranglers aren't budging -- refusing to pay Owens the 160k or issue a mea culpa.
We're told things have gotten downright nasty, with Wranglers owner Jon Frankel accusing Owens of blowing off 4 additional team events ... something T.O. vigorously denies.
Now, T.O.'s tightening the screws -- claiming if the Wranglers don't pony up by the end of business today, he's filing suit.
And how's this for ironic -- right before the Wranglers cut Owens last month, they sent out a letter to season ticket holders asking them to renew their membership ... a letter that prominently featured T.O.'s face. Pretty funny. more on this story
