. (Press release) Alkalined, a two piece alternative band from from Philadelphia, PA, have released a brand new album "Empty Spaces". The CD contains 6 tracks of piano and guitar driven alternative rock. The band will be also featured on a new artist compilation CD "Close Encounters of the Indie Kind", released by British label Matchbox Recording, out August 8. The music that Alkalined has put out is creative and original. The songs have passion and meaning behind them, the vocalist uses a powerful style while the music sets a mood that gives a feeling of positive energy. The melodies and lyrics of the tracks unite to form uplifting and inspiring music.
